Beer and sports go hand in hand. It’s fun to have a drink and watch people with more athletic abilities than I do (I know, low bar) put their heart and soul into what they do. Tonight, we are going to a baseball game. The beers are hanging out with my one and only baseball shirt. So no, I’m not really a baseball person, but live sporting events are always much more fun. Plus there’s beer, so it is undoubtedly more fun!
These are some sours from two breweries I enjoy. I really do like a good sour, and I’m always looking to try new ones.

I admit that I always have high hopes for sours. I want them to be super tart and make my lips pucker. Both of these beers have a nice tartness, but based on sour and puckering, the win goes to the Synchopathic. I smelled some fresh apples in the aroma, and the finish left my mouth in a state of pucker. The Sour Saison was an easy to drink sour, but it doesn’t leave me with the same feeling. In the end, I can’t say I loved either of these to have them again, but I’m always glad to to try a new beer.
